i'm sending everything with royal mails tracked 48 service, there's no signature required, so i've found it best for quick, reliable and convenient service. i can usually post same day.
it's been a real labour of love getting this pretty birdie collection complete - each item is unique, featuring a different combination of liberty & cotton fabrics, and each tiny portion of flower was handcut with my teeny elf scissors.
i thoroughly enjoyed the Extreme Fiddle making of them... but i'm now looking forward to setting them free!

applique & freehand embroidered floral bird small purse or case.
this pretty little purse measures 16cm wide x 12cm (6 x 4 inches). a good stocking filler, it would be perfect for handbag bits & bobs, lady-time things, make ups or stashing craft supplies.
the little bird and swirly floral design features a co-ordinating combination of liberty lawn, coloured cottons and linens. each tiny component is hand-cut and (so patiently!) layered then appliqued onto cotton calico. the detail is stitched on freestyle, using the free motion embroidery technique.
this case is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine – no computerised gubbins - everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the purse itself is made from heavy weight cotton calico which has been pre-washed several times so it’s soft and should not shrink when washed.
it is stiffened with interfacing, lined with medium weight cotton calico and has a zip fastening.
the co-ordinating hanging loop is extra securely fastened.
if ordering more than one item, any excess postage charges will be refunded via paypal.
my design is based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, and is used under license.
