Textiles made from wire, chainmaille is a beautiful thing, it is tactile and feels lovely to wear.
Chainmaille is a time consuming process, every weave is handmade with passion.
I am fascinated by the vast number of chainmaille weaves available. I love the chainmaille costumes seen in re-enactment battles and how chainmaille has been used in fashion. I am always learning new chainmaille weaves.
I coil the wire into rings and saw cut the rings by hand. I then hand weave the rings in various weaves and hand paint by anodising the rings to create a beautiful piece of jewellery.
I work with natural materials so some variation in colour, inclusions, shape and size may occur. Variation is part of the charm of handmade and natural materials.

Hand painted using an anodising technique is this simply lovely titanium and sterling silver chainmaille bracelet in sea ocean colours. Handmade by Crystal Clarke. Made to order.
High quality, beautiful and exquisite in its design this hand painted anodised titanium and sterling silver chainmaille bracelet is hand woven in a beautiful shaggy loops weave.
I coil the titanium and silver wire into rings and saw cut the rings by hand. I then hand weave the rings in a shaggy loops weave and hand paint by anodising the titanium rings to create a beautiful piece of jewellery that is elegant and the perfect go-to for any occasion be it casual or special.

This titanium and silver chainmaille bracelet comes to you in a lovely Crystal Clarke branded gift box.
As this titanium and sterling silver bracelet is over the legal weight it is fully hallmarked on the rear of my Crystal Clarke logo tag with my personal makers mark (CC), this simply stands for Crystal Clarke. As well as my makers mark there is the date letter, metal purity, sterling silver mark plus the anchor denoting where the hallmarking took place which is the Birmingham Assay Office.
