I have made similar stockings for my children and grandchildren and they love them. They are carefully wrapped and put away after Christmas and brought out again the next year and will last for years.
They can be washed by hand if needed.

Full description
A lovely quilted Christmas stocking with 'Merry Christmas' embroidered on to the front in red. There is an embroidered Father Christmas on the reverse side.
Made from cotton fabric with reindeer's, Christmas trees. snowflakes and various other Christmas items printed on it in shades of grey and red.. The top section of the stocking is white cotton, with white spots on it.
The stocking is lined in white cotton and there is a layer of polyester wadding sandwiched in-between which gives some body to the stocking. It has then been lightly quilted.
There is a white loop on the side for hanging the stocking.
