This wonderful Fish brooch is made by us in our workshop in Yorkshire. It is made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where the gold is fused to the silver at a high temperature. The brooch is oxidised to blacken it and then highly polished in certain areas, so that a contrast is made between the black, gold and polished silver. This fish brooch measures 2cm tall by 4.5cm long. We also make matching fish earrings that can be seen in one of the photographs above.
This lovely fish brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our branded boxes.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and our own website.
