This Weimaraner dog treat tin is made from robust tinplate and is perfect for storing treats in the car or in your bag (for you or your dog!). It also makes a lovely trinket tin for all those precious dog bits and pieces...
The head of a Weimaraner, in cold cast pewter, features on the push-on lid and it has been designed, sculpted and cast by me, sculptor Kirsty Armstrong.

This 'posh' treat tin would make a perfect Weimaraner owners gift. It measures 9.5cm across and 6cm deep, the 400ml capacity is large enough to hold a couple of handfuls of bone shaped biscuits and it comes ready filled!

I originally sculpted the detailed relief in wax which was then moulded, and I cast them from the mould in cold-cast pewter in my workshop shed. The casts are then cleaned up, wire wooled, buffed to a sheen and attached to the lid of each tin.

This Weimaraner tin is a new addition to my dog range which already includes Labradors and Flatcoated retrievers. More breeds will be added soon!
