Full description
A blend of black, grey and white merino wool fibres have been nuno felted to both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric to create this gorgeous scarf. Nuno felting is a process that causes the fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The presence of the silk chiffon allows the wool to be felted in an extremely fine layer and the resulting scarf is super soft, lightweight and floaty.
Designed to drape around the neck, this scarf measures approximately 122cm x 40cm (48" x 16"). Cool in summer yet warm in winter it can be worn all year round. The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions. An upgrade is available as a separate listing in my shop allowing it to be packaged in a kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift.
