Full description

Written on the Body is a series of photography taken in response to the idea of a self-portrait. My aim was to convey aspects of how we express ourselves. I believe music, art, literature, etc. are the most glorious forms of expression. For example, knowing you liked PJ Harvey over Britney Spears would tell me a little about what kind of person you are. That train of thought led me to seeking out a small selection of my favourite song lyrics and quotations to inscribe all over my skin. This series was part of a larger Identity project I undertook in 2011 in my second year at University.

My designs are printed in traditional black and white on 100gsm paper stock, and hand-folded into a mini-zine.

Size: 8-page A7 zine

All zines are posted in a secure bubbled black envelope.
