Original artwork created by mounting a hand cut stencil over a painted background. The stencil obscures part of the design but allows some sections to be revealed giving a glimpse of the painting beneath.
Titled 'What Lies Beneath' this one of a kind piece has been painted with Dr Ph. Martin's spectralite liquid acrylics on 250 gsm watercolour paper. The stencil was cut freehand from white 300gsm card and mounted over the painting using acid free tape.
It measures approx 8.2 x 8.2 inches square and could be framed as is or with a further mount to add depth. The orientation of the artwork when framed is left entirely to you, but I have signed, dated and titled on the back of the work.
The painting is packaged in a clear cellophane bag and posted in a board backed envelope via signed for delivery in the UK and by airmail for other countries.
