Knitted Handspun Scallop Pastel Rainbow Shawl, Wrap, Scarf
I handspun a beautifully dyed blend of merino and silk in a soft pastel rainbow of blue, pink, orange, green and yellow, then plied it with a plain white single yarn. This gave a soft and summery lightweight yarn.
I then knitted the shawl using a modular scallop technique, forming a softly curved triangle.
Shawls are so useful, even in summer, for throwing around your shoulders on a cool morning or maybe for the evening dog walk or even when the air conditioning is working a bit too hard!
This shawl is unique and cannot be repeated exactly but I can make similar ones in different colours, so feel free to contact me and we can discuss a cutom order.
