It is a compact, subtle and rather pretty bag in a tough pale green upholstery fabric, decorated with my own free motion embroidered dandelion clocks and wishes.

It measures 8 inches tall by 10 inches wide, and has a removable contrasting pale blue slide adjusting strap which is long enough to cross your body, but can be shortened for use as a shoulder bag. The slider and lobster clips are silver metal.

Inside it is lined with beige cotton, and features a zip fastening, a key clip, a full width lined zipped pocket and a smaller lined snap fastening slip pocket with dandelion wish detail.

The colours of the fabrics are reflected in the embroidery - one dandelion clock is white with pale blue, and the other is white with pale green. This is a really subtle but I think very effective detail - I hope you like this bag half as much as I do - I loved making it so much!

I have been meaning to make this bag for so long!
Dandelions fascinate me - I love how cleverly the flowers spread their seeds, and I love the traditions that come with them too. Some people tell the time by blowing the seeds, some make wishes on them, and some send thoughts and dreams to far-away loved ones...isn't that beautiful?
