Crochet Handspun Lined Circular Crossbody Boho Hippie Festival Hip Bag
I handspun all the merino yarns I used to crochet this cute circular crossbody bag. The colours are two shades of purple, turquoise and a little green. I added a loop and button closure, the button being a hand made Dorset button made by weaving crochet cotton around a brass ring. Dorset buttons were made in the late 1600's and 1700's in Dorset before the introduction of button making machines. There are three toning shiny beads on the ends of each of the two crochet chains which hang from the button. I have lined the bag for strength and to prevent stretching, with machine stitched polyester cotton fabric. I added a corded strap in the same yarns.
Dimensions
The bag measures 16cm high by 19cm wide and the strap measures 124cm
This bag is unique and cannot be repeated exactly but I am happy to take custom orders for similar bags in different colours or sizes.
