All baby knitwear is designed and hand crafted by Demelza Designer Knitwear.com in Cornwall meeting UK baby safety standards, Only branded premuim acylic, acrylic/natural fibre blends or pure natural fibre yarns are used in baby knitwear which conforms to BS984/76 standards.
Their knitwear patterns are not available to purchase to the general public. All knitwear is protected by ©️ design.
All items are dispatched by Royal Mail 48-hour tracking service as standard.
This is a genuine designer product. It has not been reproduced from any commercially published baby knitting pattern. Please respect the designer's full time profession, skills and very modest income for hours of quality craftsmanship by not trying to reproduce it, including using different colourways,yarns and trims.

IT TOOK OVER 24 HOURS TO HAND CRAFT THIS GARMENT. After materials cost, commission sale charges and payment method commission fees there is little left for labour costs, which is my income. Hand crafting quality baby knitwear in the UK is very much a labour of love!

Postage charges are based on the garments finished weight including packaging with no extra profits added.

Full description
A very sweet practical baby girl's aran jacket ideal for when a thick padded over coat or all in one suit is not required whilst out. It also has the advantage of being a very warm cardigan during cold days. The yarns used are a blend of 20% wool with 80 % acrylic and garanteed by the British manufacturer as machine washable. I have designed the jacket to incorporate hand crocheted flowers, with embroidered cross stitching using a contrasting pure new aran wool ' Jaeger' yarn. All the garment edges have been finished off with a a delicate crocheted picot design using a cream aran yarn. The toggle style buttons are made from genuine wood.
The size stated is a guide only as every child's growth pattern differs from their original birth weight. However, my sizing is more generous to mass produced garment sizing.
The jacket is ready for dispatch within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail 48-hour tracking service.
Demelza was first established in 1991. Over the years items have been purchased and sent around the world from the famous idyllic North Cornish Coast where I have lived for over thirty years.
