None of these duffle/backpack bags have made it into the shop before, they sell before they get this far! So I deliberately made a few that I haven't shown anywhere else just so they can be offered here.

A video showing how these bags convert between duffle and backpack is available on my youtube and facebook accounts. The bags come with variations and can be made to order with any combination. size requirements etc you have but the straps work the same on all.

This one is a little different as it doesn't have a flap. Partly because I wanted to see how the design worked without a flap and partly because I didn't have enough of this fabric to give it a flap. And of because I never repeat such a creation exactly the same not having a flap makes it distinctly different to the first one i made using this fabric! To add interest I have used a slide clasp on the draw cord.

This one has a lightly padded body and base giving it structure and less 'crushability' than the one in the video but leaving it washable. Gentle wash max 30 with short slow spin, pop it in a pillow case or laundry bag to protect the long straps when washing.

And of course the fabrics are upcycled - curtain fabric sample outer and cotton remnant for the lining.

Curtain fabric samples already have eyelets in them so unless I incorporate those eyelets into the bag design a strip several inches deep at the top becomes waste, so I use them in designs! What started as a one off to find a way of using up those pieces of fabric without creating waste has turned into a bag style with numerous possible variations that can be custom made to exact specifications. And has been for various customers!.
