Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
I love fabrics and hate waste - so I take waste fabrics and turn them into fabulous things. Some fabric is upcycled/recycled (never been entirely clear on the difference between the 2) unloved textile items turned into fabulous new things to love, some is new fabric left over from other projects (mine and other peoples), some is fabric rejected as it was considered faulty for it's original purpose and some is from factory left over rolls. I source many of the zips, buttons and trimmings as waste or recycled as well. What often does have to be new is the haberdashery used in construction such as interfacing, wadding and binding although I re-use where ever possible and avoid the use of brand new unless it's essential. Each item description will explain the upcycled/new composition for that product.
So, what do I make? Bags, clothing, aprons, cushion covers, decorative items, book covers, doorstops, key rings, table linens, coasters . . . and anything else that can be made from textiles.
I work from home, which I share with assorted little people (although one of them is actually now taller than me!), a people hating cat (really, he loathes human beings and tolerates us only to retain access to the sofa and a constant supply of food) and many, many boxes, shelves and rolls of fabric. Ahhh fabric, I do love fabric. I let the fabric inspire me and tell me what it wants to be next.
