This gorgeous lampshade has been made from the world renowned Harris Tweed hand-woven wool fabric in a mottled dark red. Inside is the standard fire-retardant pvc, safe to use with regular 40W candle bulbs or 15W low energy bulbs. Please note, this is the shade only - lamp base and other props are for photographic use only and not included.
The shade is a simple drum shape, 30cm (12 inches) diameter, and 20cm (8 inches) tall.
All Roses Workshop items are handmade by me in my Lancashire workshop. Custom orders are welcome. Yes I can make this shade in other colours. Check my shop for other lampshades: https://folksy.com/shops/rosesworkshop/collections/266159 or contact me for your custom order.
To protect your shade on it's journey it will be packed in a cardboard box and padded with bubble wrap. At the moment I only ship these lampshades within the UK, but if you live somewhere else please get in touch and I can check if there are any import restrictions for your country.
About Harris Tweed:
Harris Tweed is a very special fabric. It is the world’s only commercially produced hand-woven tweed.
The Harris Tweed Orb symbol certifies the cloth is genuine Harris Tweed: "Hand-woven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
I love working with this beautiful quality fabric, and you will find many Harris Tweed items in my shop.
