All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
I'm a dog person not a cat person but I do like to make cats, in fact, I think they were the first animal I made when I learnt how to pierce metal well over 10 years ago now. I still like to make them and develop different versions and using the bronze penny coin is just another idea to play with.

A cat silhouette cut from a 1967 bronze penny coin, (this is Version 2). 3cms across. Supplied with a sterling silver chain, 16 or 18 inch, please specify when ordering.
The one featured here is 1967. It is ready to be despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK.
(Should you require another date, it may be possible given that the penny was minted in that year and I have it in stock. Time would also need to be added to actually cut, file and polish the item.)
FYI - bronze is a combination of 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc.
It is representational of the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.
It is illegal to deface the queen's image if the coin is still legal tender. The pre-decimal coins that I use are no longer legal tender - and I also have a license to do what I do.
Care instructions provided.
