A fairy sits amidst the long grass and toadstools, bathing in the moonlight and drinking in the fragrance of roses. A song bird sits in a gilded cage, keeping watch over the deep dark forest....
This is a mixed media artwork measuring 27cm high by 16cm wide overall. The canvas measures 18cm high by 13cm wide. The hanging loop is approximately 11cm high.
There are many layers of muslin, ribbon, paint and layered shapes on this piece. There are shades of blue through to turquoise with gold as a highlight.
