I love dogs' expressive faces and wanted to make a series of hand thrown and hand illustrated individual cups.
I was particularly pleased with this little chap's smiley face!

Full description
The hand painted schnauzer on this hand thrown mug was applied using underglaze paints after the piece had been bisque fired. It was then clear glazed using lead free glaze and fired to earthenware temperatures. The glaze gives this white clay a warm off white finish.
There is a little handpainted paw print inside and my maker's stamp on the base.
The cup holds 250mls
Width at rim is 10.5 cm
Height is 7.75 cm
