A recent visit to Chesil Beach reminded me of how beautiful a cluster of pebbles can be and I decided to try and recreate a bit of it at home.

A unique statement piece of wall art.
This wall hanging has been made from many individually felted pebbles stitched together to create the illusion of stones hanging on your wall. Each felted pebble is made using a lambswool core covered in wool fibres from various sheep breeds. Markings have been added and then the pebbles have been wet felted and sewn together using a strong cotton thread. It has been mounted onto a piece of board and hanging wire attached to keep the structure rigid and provide easy and secure hanging.
The final piece measures approximately 60cm x 70cm (23.5" x 27.5").
This piece of artwork would look stunning on a plain wall in a sun room or conservatory, bringing the beach to your home.
The pebbles beneath the wall hanging are not included in the listing.
