Full description
This star measures 30mm across its points. It is mounted on a 45cm silver plate curb chain the fastens with a simple bolt ring.
I made the star by building up layers of clear enamel on the copper base then firing a layer of turquoise over these. I then lay rods of golden-yellow and blue enamel over the turquoise and when the piece was at red hot in the kiln I drew through them with a steel point to create the unique, random pattern. The copper base shows through the turquoise in tones of golden brown depending on the direction of light striking the pendant.
