I live in a little seaside town, famous for its pirates. Each year we hold a famous pirate festival, when the town is crowded with thousands of buccaneers and filibusters. What better inspiration for my little Ragbag Pirates and their sea dogs - the Barking Buccaneers!

In this story about the Ragbag Pirates, young Bullhead Bob waits in eager anticipation for a parcel from his mum, but he is very disappointed when it arrives.
The postman delivered some trousers one day,
To young Bullhead Bob, who shouted -
"Oh yeah! - I've been waiting all week for these trousers to come,
They were posted last Saturday, made by my mum."
(For pirates need mums to
take care of their stuff,
To you and to me they
may seem kinda tough,
But aside from all of the
plunderin' they do,
They're just great big
softies, with hearts filled with goo.)
