What you looking at? That's right you're spying my colourful rebel pigeon watercolour art print. This bird print perfect for giving your walls some real attitude.

Pigeons may be much maligned birds but this dude simply doesn't care. He knows he has the most his gorgeous, iridescent pink and blue plumage and he loves showing it off in my watercolour and ink drawing. I love this sassy bird.

It is the perfect print for wilful souls and those who like to walk proud. He's a symbol of proud defiance.

This beautiful limited edition piece is printed in the UK on 300gsm textured gesso FSC paper.

The portrait print is 32cm x 46cm.

The print is delivered rolled up in a secure tube wrapped in tissue paper.

The original drawing was inspired by a BBC Springwatch article that celebrated this most common of birds, I created it with washes of watercolour overlayed with fine details in black ink.

I used to be scared of pigeons (I grew up in London afterall), but after moving to the country and doing lots of drawings of wading birds I started to think about the creatures I grew up with.

Once I started really looking at pigeons I saw how gorgeous their plumage was - it really does sparkle with two-tone/ three-tone loveliness and I hope this drawing reflects that.
