I made this bowl while staying with my son and his family in the picturesque little town of Gembrook in Australia early this year. I had no access to a pottery wheel but could buy plenty of clay, so I sat in the sunshine with my grandchildren and while they made little clay animals etc, I made a series of 'pinch pots'and rediscovered the absolute pleasure of making entirely handmade ceramics, something I hadn't done for many years!

Full description
Handmade 'pinch pot' in stoneware clay with leaf decoration in brown iron oxide. The bowl measures 14 cms across and is 7.5 cms high. Great for nuts, dips, crisps and nibbles etc. and sweets of course! It is made of tough stoneware clay and is microwave and dishwasher safe.
