Full description
I have designed this pattern with full instructions for making this lovely, lacy crochet shawl with its own optional detachable brooch or hair ornament which can be used in many different ways. It has a simple flower edging which makes it that little bit different. It would make a fantastic gift for a friend, relative or even treat yourself!
This one is made in a lace weight yarn which makes it light and floaty. If you use double knitting yarn it will be heavier and you will need to work fewer rows. You might also need to adapt the hook size. The detachable brooch can be used on its own, on a separate garment as a brooch or make it into a hair decoration.
There are 8 pages and 42 full coloured photographs to show you every step of the way. The stitches are basic crochet stitches and not at all complicated.
