Full description
This amazing scarf is one of a kind. A silk chiffon scarf has had 2 panels of purple merino wool nuno felted to both sides along its length. Shrinkage of the wool during the felting process results in a slightly ruffled effect to the visible silk chiffon. The chiffon layers have been doubled over at the edges but left single thickness in the centre. A brightly coloured art yarn has been added to the surface of the felt on one side to add decoration.
Beautifully lightweight this scarf looks fabulous draped around the neck and could be worn with any outfit.
The scarf measures approximately 120cm x 30cm (47" x 12")
The scarf is provided wrapped in floral tissue paper. An upgrade for a kraft card presentation gift box is available as a separate listing in my shop.
Hand wash gently in warm water, do not wring, reshape while wetland remove excess water with a towel. Press with a cloth or use a low temperature (wool/silk) setting iron if required.
