Full description
A beautifully soft and lightweight merino wool scarf in red with multicoloured silk fibre embellishment. This scarf has been made using a wet felting process. This process binds fine layers of red merino wool fibres topped with multicoloured silk fibres into a stable fabric. The silk fibres add additional colour, texture and sheen to the surface.
The silk fibres have been added to one side of the scarf only, the reverse has been left plain. .
The resulting scarf is soft and lightweight, measuring approximately 170cm x 22cm and is long enough to tie in a knot or wrap around the neck for extra warmth if required.
Wool is a natural fibre making it eco friendly, sustainable and biodegradable. It is breathable and reacts to the body temperature giving warmth in the winter but cool in the summer making this an all season accessory. A lovely gift for mothers day or any other occasion.
The scarf will be shipped wrapped in tissue paper with a card explaining the felting process and washing instructions.
Handwash only in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
