Full description
A bright and cheerful scarf. Made using a black silk chiffon scarf with circles of bright neon coloured circles of merino wool nuno felted on both sides at intervals along its length. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. Shrinkage of the wool during the felting process results in a lovely gathered appearance of the silk as illustrated in the final photo.
Certainly one of a kind it is bound to make a statement and would be a stunning accessory to any outfit. Lightweight but still providing some warmth this scarf is ideal for draping around the shoulders. It measures approximately 122cm x 40cm (48" x 16").
The scarf is provided packaged in a kraft card window presentation box, labelled with information about the nuno felting process and washing instructions, making it an ideal gift.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while damp and press if required with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
