These wonderful little owl earrings are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold. We use an ancient Korean technique called Keum boo, where the gold is fused to the silver. Using three types of colour on these earrings give them a dramatic feel. The richness of the gold contrasts dramatically with the oxidised and highly polished silver. The marks making up these little owls have been handmade, so each pair are unique and will be slightly different. The earrings measure approximately 14mm x 20mm or 9/16" by 13/16". These beautiful little owl earrings come in one of our quality, attractive branded gift boxes.
All our earwires are handmade by us, using sterling silver. They are designed so that the earrings are securely attached, so no need to worry about lost hoops or earrings.
You can also find other fascinating creature earrings elsewhere in our Folksy shop, as well as on our website at www.JandDField.co.uk
These Little Owl earrings were the first ones that Dawn made in a series of animal Keum boo jewellery. We love the strong contrast of the oxidised black sterling silver, 24ct gold and the highly polished silver. We are working on more little animals to join our menagerie, so watch this space!
