Full description
These wonderful halved earrings are made from sterling silver and 24-carat gold. These are the smaller of two pairs of scribed halved earrings we make. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver. Letters and symbols have been punched into the surface by hand, so each pair will differ slightly. The surface of the earrings has been scribed and is given a worn effect to simulate the look of an antique found object. When fitted together, the earrings measure 23mm in diameter.
We handmake the sterling silver ear wires and they are designed so that the earrings are securely attached, so no need to worry about lost hoops or earrings.
The earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and come in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K., through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and our website.
