Full description
This is a delightful, traditionally styled dress for a new baby girl.
The dress features hand worked smocking in deep bands across the front and back in three shades of pink. I chose to add smocking to the back of the dress since when holding a new baby it is often the back of the dress that everyone will see!
The dress is made from white cotton fabric and features a two part collar and short puffed sleeves that are gathered into a narrow band. The dress has a deep hem that can be let down as required and has a back opening fastened with three buttons.
The garment is fully machine washable and can be ironed but please do not press the smocked sections.
The actual measurements are as follows:
Chest measurement 36 cm,
Length from nape of neck to hemline 34 cm,
Sleeve length 2.5 cm at underarm,
Sleeve band measures 20 cm around at upper arm.
This dress is reduced in price as it has been on display and Rosalind is no longer making children’s clothing.
