Full description
This beautiful scarf is made using the nuno felting technique which causes woollen fibres laid over a silk base fabric to migrate through the fabric and bind with it. A blend of various blue merino wool fibres have been used.
The resulting scarf is a dress length scarf designed to drape around the neck. It is gorgeously soft and lightweight and drapes beautifully. The scarf measures approximately 122cm x 46cm (48" x 18") and is supplied in a kraft card window presentation box with labelling to explain the nuno felting process and supply washing instructions making it an ideal gift.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water and reshape while damp. Press on a warm setting (wool/silk) or using a pressing cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
