I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

Full description
This beautiful freshwater pearl necklace is made with good quality elliptical pearls which look grey in most lights but which have purple overtones; a very pretty and classy shade. The pearls are all about 6.5 mm long. Most of them are elliptical in shape, a few are a little more flattened at the ends and one or two are slightly pointed at one end. They have very few surface flaws and a nice, slightly metallic, lustre. They are strung in the traditional way with a tiny knot between each pearl. However I have used strong specially treated nylon instead of the more usual silk as it is less inclined to stretch. The necklace is finished with a silver-plated trigger clasp. It is 45cms (17.7ins) long.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy box for safe travel.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £10 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
