This is my depiction of the Sheffield Winter Gardens. I have been on a Sheffield rampage and have illustrated some of the places that I have fond memories of growing up in the city.
This scene depicts a light and sunny afternoon in the indoor garden, people are wandering in, looking at the fantastic trees and greenery or or happy sitting and reading/watching the world go by.
The A4 illustration measures 29.5cm x 21cm and is printed onto 210gsm uncoated matte paper. This gives the print a lovely feel and would be ideal as a gift for a friend or a treat for yourself. The spacing around the edge of the image makes the Illustration ideal for framing.
I post all my prints out in a hard backed envelope, wrapped in a cellophane wrapper to ensure a safe journey to you.
I love the Winter Gardens. I used to sit in there an eat my lunch when I worked in the town centre, getting a humus salad sandwich from Zooby's, a coffee and reading my book was something I geekily looked forward too. Now I like to wander through and see what's happening. There is always something to see and the Makers shops are great to visit. Just having an indoor space that is free to go in and out of is great in a city where rain is always waiting!
