Someone asked me if I could make her a pair of simple silver earrings which, for me, is a challenge as I usually like to combine silver with colour. In trying out my ideas, I rediscovered the joy of creating texture and variations of light and shade by hammering. It's set me off on a whole journey of playing with texture.
