A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) 2-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Whitby No.4'.
I'm a big fan of the Yorkshire coast, and what better place than Whitby? This is a view from the West Cliff looking towards the famous Whitby Abbey, with various buildings, houses, the beach and sea in the foreground.
Light teal/blue and green/grey System 3 inks on off-white 250gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 60, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H25xW18cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
Inspired by recent visits to Whitby. I love the place, the scenery, the people and the food!
