I started to make a series of collages depicting birds when I found some old sheet music I must have had in my posession for years. It just looked like it had a lot of potential. I always think that it's a good thing to run with a creative idea and so I made a range of these. I experimented with various methods for using the sheet music and found that tissue paper and acrylic paints were the best materials for the job. "Moonlight" turned out to be one of my favourites as I actually produced this piece twice I liked the birds so much!

Full description
This is an original hand painted collage depicting two little birds serenading in the moonlight. I created this piece using brightly coloured patterned paper, sheet music and tissue paper. The birds have been painted on using acrylics.
I am selling this piece mounted, unframed. Its full size dimensions are 8" x 8" including the mount. The piece itself is within a 5" x 5" aperture. "Moonlight" is ready and waiting for framing by its new owner.
It is wrapped in cellophane for protection from dust and handling and comes with a rigid mount board backing to prevent it from bending in transit. This will ensure the piece arrives at it's new home in good order.
