My love of animals and floral decoration come together in this pretty cat jar. I like simplicity in decoration and this leaf pattern is achieved using the wax resist technique. This is where liquid wax is painted on the pot and then colour applied. The wax burns away in the kiln, leaving a lovely soft effect design.

Full description
Beautiful hand thrown stoneware lidded jar in cream and black with a little cat on top. Both attractive and useful for so many things - jam, sugar, honey, sauces and with a space in the lid for a spoon. It makes a unique and charming present.
