Beautiful hand thrown blue and white lidded jar with a bird on the lid. The jar is useful for jams, honey and sauces etc and is made of tough stoneware clay. There is a space in the lid to fit a spoon.

This little pot is in one of my favourite underglaze colours. The blue is very quirky and you never quite know what it will be like when you open up the kiln! In this case I think it came out just right. And the cheeky little bird on the lid seems to set the whole pot off perfectly.
