Beautiful brown storage jar with lid, decorated with a simple leaf design and with a little sculpted bird on the lid. The jar measures 15 cms high and 10 cms wide.

I enjoy making decorative pots that are useful rather than just for show. This pot is hand thrown on the wheel and has a simple leaf design. The little bird is hand sculpted and the jar is coloured with iron oxide and decorated using the wax resist technique. This gives the design a lovely soft misty quality.
