In my bathroom I have diffused glass which is patterned with leaves. I was looking at it the other day and thought what a great idea for a new suncatcher.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A picture of autumn leaves, 10 of then, against an autumnal blue sky with green grass below.
I've used different shades of amber and golden glass, all very autumnal for the leaves.
It comprises 33 individually cut, shaped and copper foiled pieces of glass.
It looks lovely hanging in the window with the sun casting the colours which change with the light.
This is 16cm high and 12cm wide and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher. I've framed it with twisted wire for strength and neatness.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.
