This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
One of my special designs - a motorhome, a classic coachbuilt shape which is based on a Compass Drifter (I traced a photograph to get the pattern).
It's made with lots of lovely clear and streaky white glass, textured clear glass for the windscreen and window.
The glass is soldered together, polished and ready to hang in the window from a chain which is securely attached to the top of the motorhome. Please do not try driving with it hanging in the window as it is glass and therefore a little delicate.
I have a motorhome of my own which is why I make motorhome and caravan suncatchers. I have a stained glass version of my own Tandy McLouis which hangs in the windscreen whenever we are camped.
This suncatcher is 13cm wide and 7 cm high.
The 5th photo shows the one I made previously so you can each is different.
This makes a unique present for anyone but especially for someone with a motorhome. It looks lovely hanging in a window of the house, as well as in a motorhome, where it shines and catches the light all year round.
I can also make motorhomes / caravans to order to match specific models. If you would like one a different style or one in different cololurs then please send me a note and I will see what I can do for you.
A great man gift
The perfect unique present for a motorhome owner or any camping enthusiast
