This is an original monotype print. I made it using my own hand designed and cut stencils, and artist quality acrylic paint using a gelli-plate as the working surface to roll out the paint. The image has been built up in layers. It has been printed onto Somerset printmaking paper.
This is a unique, one-off print, hence the name, monoprint. It is signed on the actual image.
image: 36 x 30.5 cms
Paper: 42 x 38 cms
It will be sent rolled in a tube with protective glassine or tissue paper.
This monoprint should be mounted right up to the vertical sides, and the top, leaving room for the signature and title in pencil underneath the image (which I did since taking these photographs!)
If you have any questions, please just ask, and I`ll do my best to help. Thanks for looking!
PLEASE NOTE: NO SALE TRANSFERS THE COPYRIGHT, WHICH REMAINS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE ARTIST. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THANK YOU.
Autumn is such an inspiring season! And I love birds ( I used to feed them more before we got a cat!)
