Jolly Farm Tractors is a bright quilt with so much to see - tractors of all different colours, trees with little birds singing in the branches, polka dots and solid blocks coming together in shades of blue, orange, sage and chartreuse.

The binding - handstitched all the way around - is deep indigo with bright white polka dots and the backing is pure white lightweight fleece so this quilt is light, warm, snuggly and fully washable. It may be tumble or line dried. The quilt measures approx 102 cm x 95 cm.

I love late summer when all the tractors are whizzing around collecting in the crops. The trees are laden with fruit just about to ripen and the colours of the countryside are hot. That's the inspiration for this quilt - harvest time. It would be a great present for a baby just born or for anyone who loves the countryside. An ideal size for a cot, over a favourite chair or end of the bed, it would also make a colourful wall-hanging.
