These earrings are folded from small sections of an old OS map meaning that every pair will be slightly different and have it's own unique pattern.
They are made to order and can be put on to your choice of silver or gold plated hooks or clips, or antique bronze coloured hooks - but the colours in the map work very well with the bronze or gold tones.
They measure about 3 1/2 cm across with a 4 cm drop.
Each fan is well varnished so they hold their shape well and the silk type varnish finish really helps to bring out the detail of the map.
As these are a made to order item and take time to complete please allow 10 working days for delivery of your item.
I can add sterling silver hooks for an additional cost of £1

I decided it would be interesting to try using old OS maps as the paper for some of my designs. When you look at these in detail you start to see all the wonderful patterns and colours on them which when taken in small sections 5-6cm almost become tiny abstract pictures.
It also means that each pair will be slightly different from the next. I also make a few of my other designs in this paper but as it is quite thick it isn't suitable for all of them.
