Stained Glass and Rainbows go together so very well as do sunsets and sea so I decided to try a coimbination of them all.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new design as I wanted to try a combination of my favourite stained glass themes, a sunset over the sea and a rainbow.
I've made the rainbow in the shape of a crescent moonwhich curls round the sunset scene.
I think it is quite stunning and very special and hope you do too .
The ring is framed with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
The rainbow has all the colours of the spectrum made from 7 different colours and textures of glass.
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window.
It is 14.5 cm in diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
