I wanted to do some wire wrapping with seed beads, to see what the contrast of materials would work out like.

Full description
I made a leaf shaped base from non-tarnish copper wire, which I hammered to strengthen. Then I loosely wire wrapped the frame with thinner copper wire, and added red seed beads in various sizes. The earrings have been created as a matched pair.
The earrings measure approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) from the highest point of the ear wire, or 2 1/2 inches (6 cm) from the loop.
The fixings used are copper fish hooks with a leaf cluster design, suitable for pierced ears.
These earrings will be carefully packaged in acid free tissue paper, and placed in an organza bag.
