My bedroom window overlooks a nursery. In the day there are children playing, but early in the morning and at dusk a vixen reclaims her domain. Every year I hear her calling for a mate. This year she had four cubs who I had the delight of watching grow up. I like to imagine the vixen having a day when she is celebrated for the Queen that she is. This is the flower crown she would wear.
