Full description
This mono screen print is loosely based on a view in Tuscany where the beautiful poppies were positively glowing in the sun.
I made the work on an A3 screen by painting the design using acrylic paint thinned with acrylic medium. This technique means you have to work fast and there is a degree of luck when you pull the squeegee down the mesh as you never know quite what the finished design will look like.
I have printed half a dozen of this design and they are all different.
The work itself measures 21x24cm and is set off with a 3.5 cm black mount with a white core.
The oak frame is 3.5cm wide and 3cam deep bringing the whole picture to 37x34.5 cm
