Full description
This is a stunning fantasy mixed media canvas featuring a moonlit scene of a mystical fairy door with toadstools and a wishing well nestled below a flowering tree with distant rolling hills.
The box canvas is A4 landscape in size and all the elements have been added with the use of clay or texture paste so all very 3D.
For some elements I have used and adapted moulds for others such as the tree I have created them entirely by hand. I have used texture paste to add background detail such as the hills, clouds and foliage and then the whole thing has been painted with mica and metallic paints making it super shiny and metallic.
The colours change depending on the light source. Not all of the subtle colours have shown in the photograph for instance the fairy door has many subtle shades of blues, purples and pinks that simply need to be seen in real life.
The canvas is 29.5cm x 21cm by 1.5cm deep. The edges are blended out to black, it is self hanging and does not need a frame.
This would be a wonderful addition to a little girls fairy bedroom however I am quite sure it would be well received by anyone of any age who has a little magic in their heart.
