This quirky little bag has the base colours of red black and cream, with four playing cards as the main attraction.
The front is a black pin cord which has been overlaid with first an organza ribbon and then a cream velvet thinner ribbon.
I then made four playing cards from scanning vintage cards then printing out using t- shirt transfer paper and ironing onto white felt and adding my own felt centre. this panel has then been piped using a red ribbed ribbon
The back has been given a softer ruffle look by folding and then layering satin and organza ribbon, this panel has then been piped with a woven black and cream fabric
The side panels are a black corduroy with black leather straps and metal rings to attack to the elegant bag strap, which has been made from black pin cord laid with cream organza and velvet ribbon.
The bag fastens with a red zip to reveal a red satin quilted lining with makers label
The measurements - Height 17 cm, Width 28 cm and Depth 8.5 cm
